Our First Triathlon

On the 7th July 2018 four girls from Year 3 (at the time), Chole, Kiara, Talia and Chiara participated in their first competitive Triathlon.

The event took place at Dorney Lake, Eton (aleading venue for Senior and Elite triathlon events). They competed in the 8 years old category and had to complete 100m Swim, 1.5km Bike then 600m Run. Swimming in open water was challenging, they also had to manage both transitions on their own under time pressure. They all completed and did very well especially given the hot weather conditions!
