IAPS Football Tournament

On Tuesday 2nd October Glendower competed in their first ever IAPS Football tournament which was held in Taunton, Somerset. We woke up at 5am to meet Miss Humble and Miss Russell at Paddington station ready to start our journey. We were so excited that the early morning start did not bother us. We found our seats on the train and played card games, talked and some of us nibbled on some snacks. When we arrived, we put our boots on and began to warm up. We were so excited to be wearing the Glendower football kit, we felt like professionals. We kicked off and had a very tough first match but as the games went on, we kept improving, using our skills and even scoring some goals. Everyone played in different positions and had a go at being goalie.
