U10 & U11 Woldingham Cricket Tournament

On Saturday 18th of May, nine Year 6 and seven Year 5 girls went to a Kwik Cricket Tournament at Woldingham School.

It was the first time Glendower had participated in a cricket tournament, so we were new to the experience. We played just for fun, we didn’t win any games, but we all had a really good time. All our matches were quite close. The Y6s played four matches and the Y5s played three.

Thank you to Miss Humble and Miss Probert for taking us and to our parents who came to support us. Georgie (Y6)

“It was really fun even though we were against some tough teams.” Maya (Y6)

“It was very exciting, and we improved throughout all of our matches.” Marina (Y6)
