Remi sans famille

2019-11-18

On Monday, Year 5 visited Institut Francais to watch a movie called “Remi sans famille.” The trip was a great experience for everyone and the movie was especially breath-taking. Even though the movie was subtitled, we were still quite able to follow what the actors were saying without needing to read the subtitles constantly. The movie was about a boy who had no family. Despite it being very sad to watch, we all left appreciating our families and how blessed we were even more. Many thanks to Madame Metro and Mrs Haze as well as parent helpers, Mrs Levy and Mrs Sanoke, for going out of their way and volunteering their own time to give us this amazing opportunity.

I loved the film a lot because it shows how happy you can be when you sing. My favourite part was when he found his real mother and when I watched that part, I felt very emotional and I cried through that part.

I loved the film because there was a lot of action and it made me think, for instance trying to find out who was Rémi father and mother.
