The Festival of Passover

This term, Y1 have been learning about the traditions and festivals of the Jewish religion. This week we had a wonderful visit from Mrs Sterling-Martin who told us all about the festival of Passover. She explained the reasons why Jewish people around the world remember and celebrate this important event in Jewish history. Many of the Jewish festivals have symbolic links to food, so she brought some of the elements of a Passover meal for the girls to try.
