Going Ape

2018-06-06

Year One and Two went to Go Ape for their ‘Give it a Go’ activity day. The girls had a wonderful time challenging themselves to cross wobbly bridges and jump across gaps in the steps – some may say they were braver than their teachers! The girls all showed great resilience and patience, learning that some things which seemed a little scary at first, ended up being a lot of fun!

Miss Lloyd-George and Miss Bahar (Year 1)

This week we had our ‘Give it a go’ day! We visited Go Ape in Battersea Park where the girls learned to climb, swing and slide high up in the trees. It was a fantastic day and the girls developed their confidence to try something new! We were so impressed with the resilience shown by the girls and the encouragement that they gave each other. Well done girls, we are really proud of you!

Miss Sykes and Miss Greenlees (Year 2)

“I was petrified at the beginning because it was so high up, but my fear vanished when I realised how fun it was! It was a super day and I would love to go back and do it all again!” Simran (Year 1)

“One of the bridges was like a swing and it was called ‘The Flying Carpet’. It was very tricky to get across because each part was moving. Me and Miss Greenlees worked together in a team. It was so fun.” Francesca (Year 2)
