Learning About Puppets at The Lyric Theatre

Y1 went to Lyric Theatre Hammersmith where they spent the day learning all about puppets.

They made up their own stories using a variety of hand puppets and were taught how to make simple finger puppets using felt and a variety of other materials.

The girls got to look at different kinds of puppets, some over 100 years old! This was a great introduction to this term’s art and design topics based around puppets and things with moving parts.
