FA Cup Final

2018-05-05

On Saturday 5th May, a few girls from the football club went to Wembley to watch the women’s FA cup final, Arsenal vs Chelsea. The game kicked off at 5:30 and the atmosphere was electric. For a while the teams were playing well but didn’t manage to get any goals. The whistle blew for half time and after a 15-minute break the players were back on the pitch. Chelsea player Ramona Bachmann scored the first goal for Chelsea, making it 1-0. Not long after Bachmann Scored again, giving Chelsea a 2-0 lead over Arsenal. Suddenly Arsenal were passing from their goal to Chelsea’s goal so quickly that the Chelsea goalkeeper couldn’t save the ball! Goal!  Thank you to Miss Russell and Miss Humble for arranging this amazing event.
