Glendower Christmas Bazaar

25th November 2017

"What can I say, the school was totally transformed on Saturday into a wintry, wonderland forest and then overnight, Santa’s elves transformed it back into something more recognisable! It was wonderful to see the hard work of so many come together to such great effect. Creative stalls, delicious food and drink, beautiful singing and incredible decorations – no attention to detail was spared by one and all. Many thanks to those of you who made it possible and in particular Mrs Rekrut and Mrs Caron (Committee Chairwomen) who cajoled, persuaded and encouraged you all to be part of the Christmas Bazaar event. It was a memorable day which would not been possible were it not for our fantastic team of Glendower parent volunteers – the girls and staff are so lucky to have your amazing support! Thank you all so much."

"Thank you for supporting the 2017 Glendower Christmas Bazaar!

We had another amazing year. Thank you to everyone who came to support the Bazaar - all the Reps and volunteers, the staff, particularly the Cookie Judges, who we know had a very difficult task! The Year 6 girls for singing so beautifully, the parents and children for attending and supporting our various games, stalls and merchandise sales and of course to our amazing Bazaar team for putting such a fabulous event together.

We received many personal contributions, and so many of you also kindly reached out to local businesses to get donations and to attract sponsorship through marketing in our brochure. We are very lucky at Glendower to have such a wonderful and generous community. Our fundraising event this year raised in excess of £10,100!

We will continue to support Ambitious About Autism, a charity that we forged links with many years ago. Some of the money raised will go to other local charities that help vulnerable people in the area. This year we will also be supporting the Kensington and Chelsea Winter Warmth Campaign helping elderly people who sometimes struggle to afford to feed themselves and keep warm during these cold months.

A HUGE Thank you again to everyone!"
