Pastoral CarePastoral CareThe children's pastoral care is an integral part of the duties of their form teacher. Parents are encouraged to discuss any problems, that the girls are unable to resolve themselves with their form teacher. If the problem persists, the form teacher and/or parent should speak to the Deputy Head or the Head of Lower School, dependent on the relevant age group. GLENDOWER GOLDEN RULESThese rules are displayed throughout the school. All girls from Reception to Year 6 are expected to know them and act accordingly.

PREFECTS, FORM CAPTAINS AND VICE CAPTAINSEach form elects a Form Captain and Vice Captain every half term. This gives different girls the opportunity to be responsible, reliable and sensible. Every child in Year 6 is given a trial run as a prefect and then in the spring term permanent prefects are elected. Prefect meetings are held on a weekly basis and the prefects are constantly observing what is happening in the playground and at lunchtime. Any problems are discussed in the weekly meeting with the Deputy Head. |
