The Lower School
For the younger girls, Glendower is an enjoyable place to start school. Curiosity is met with encouragement and a reassuring level of personal attention.
Classes are small. Form teachers are supported by assistants and teach general subjects while supervising and monitoring the girls in their care.
Music, Drama, Swimming, Physical Education, French, Design Technology and IT are taught by specialist teachers. Even the kindergarten class is introduced to academic subjects, developing self-confidence and proficiency without undue pressure.
In an environment where work and play are respected equally, most girls achieve a standard way beyond that required by the National Curriculum.
